The Trinity Trails system runs adjacent to the building, which has been set back from the trail to mitigate the mass of the building from the trail and to allow for the design of a terrace adjacent to the river. This terrace has an extensive hardscape area to provide for outdoor functions. A pergola provides shade both to the terrace and to the glass on the ground floor of the building.

The firm provided AUI Contractors with complete landscape architecture services including site planning, plant and irrigation design and design of exterior structures. Low-maintenance, drought-resistant native and adapted plant materials were utilized in architectonic forms to complement the unique architecture involved.
